I’ve spoken about the importance of taking care of yourself, the stronger you become the more you are there to be for others.
Art is a resource for reaching many objectives. Seems at times it may just be a distraction or creative outlet for children, but it is more than that. Art sets things in motion. The mental, physical, and the emotional body.
Children go through spiritual awakening too! Pay extra attention to your kids as they may require assistance that is not the usual. Art is a great thing to introduce as a day-to-day practice. Art also assists to stop the clutter from electronics. In addition, the practice of staying grounded.
These are the media used:
- Tombow Fudenosuke Brush Pen.
- MONO Graph Mechanical Pencil.
- Fudenosuke Neon.
- Irojiten Neon pencils.
Let’s discover these tools:
I told my daughter that I had received these new Tombow items. I love sharing my art supplies with my kids. I asked her to make something with these fun new neon colors.
I told her to take her time with the tools. To enjoy them and that is okay if she blends them or they get ruined. I also asked her to pick her favorite item which was the mechanical pencil.
Keeping it simple is easy when it comes to kids as they automatically know to discover things and observe them in ways adults forget to do so. Therefore, there process and steps are slower.
Let’s explore:
I asked her to tell me about the drawing. The colors she used. I also complimented her on how she chose to make a rainbow in the unicorn’s eye. Compliments are helpful as it shows them they are on the right track and encourages kids to continue to participate.
Then, we made up a story about the photo and discussed this. She enjoyed her time, felt included, and appreciated the process. Small gestures here-and-there help children with keeping and learning to form a structure.
From my heart to yours,
