Confused and stuck, aren’t we all sometimes? Numerous people get stuck living in a routine which, in fact, many times may not be aware they are in. At other times, life changing events happen where they are forced to break the routine. Scenario after scenario can be created for the one reason that someone becomes stuck. We tend to overlook, though, that being stuck comes from our own decisions and actions.
When we are in a situation of being stuck we start neglecting ourselves. Being trapped is our own doing and decision that becomes a daily way of living. We create habits – which are very common and can become customs that society inherits. Some of these customs are also a way of allowing us to be trapped in the same routines. We must realize that things do not necessarily have to go in a particular order, nor do they have to be lived as it is seen fit in the eyes of society. Humanity is in consistent change. There are phases where, as a society, things are done with the same collective intentions. Then, as that way fades with time another collective thought is unfolded to a new reality. This is one thing that can be distracting. Though, the real focus must be drawn to what is true to you and what positive things you need and want in your life – without having the influence of others.
Sometimes when we are stuck in a situation it happens because we are in disagreement with ourselves. We want something yet we say, “No I do not”. Then, that feeling interchanges and it continues going. As a result, one becomes stuck. One must recognize what your true feelings are. Envision what you want, why you do not have it, and… Then, try to think of those things together and ask yourself, “Why are these things not in harmony with each other?” We tend to think about something and focus on one or several negative things. We never consider to bring in the positive and give it a chance.
Throughout life, majority of time is spent socializing. It is a wonderful thing to be surrounded by people learning and growing. Instead of spending that usual time out with your friends you must also be able to give some time to yourself too. A routine that is dedicated to nurturing yourself. Most of you are thinking, “Yes, a day to pamper myself!” That is a great idea, but what I have in mind is a day spent reflecting and reevaluating what you need to work on, what you are happy with or not, and other things that concern you. Provide a day for yourself to be able to realize that you have the capability to make a change for yourself. A day to actually make a change not just think about the changes you want. Dive deep into what you want to change by changing your thoughts and old ways. You cannot ask for change and being removed from the position you are stuck in if you are not willing to change yourself. A new life requires a new perception; making it a good life includes your heart. Question what your heart ones. Learn why your mind is reacting differently from what your heart wants. Understand that the impossible that you thought is not impossible at all. Dissect your pain, thoughts and confusion. This will also help you to not only heal those situations where you are stuck but also prevent them too. Let’s call it a day to make a change for yourself. There are a lot of outer circumstances that can make you stuck, but the main attention should be put on the creations that you have made to let you be in that situation.
